July’s Improvements To Sitata

Here are the latest improvements recently added into Sitata’s partner platform.

Newsletters!

We have made some additions to tie our regular newsletter service into your own account settings. If you would prefer to not receive any updates at all, you can now turn them off in your account settings on Sitata. You can also click the “unsubscribe” link in the footer of this email, but then you wont be aware of all the great things we’re doing!

Additional Countries

While we don’t yet have all countries in our database, we’ve been adding new ones every week. Here are some of the latest that were added into our system:

  • Jordan
  • Iran
  • Nicaragua
  • Paraguay
  • Namibia
  • Mozambique
  • Iceland
  • Honduras
  • Guatemala
  • Gabon
  • Democratic Republic of the Congo
  • Bermuda
  • Mauritania
  • Benin
  • Ghana

We’ll continue to add more until all countries are in our system. Currently, we have been prioritizing them based on the most frequently travelled by tourists. However, if you’d like to place a priority on one that is missing, simply reply to this email and let us know!

Trip Builder

We have re-named the “Trips” section to “Trip Builder.” This is the section of our service that allows you to create a package of travel information for a traveller. When you do so, the traveller will receive their own account so they can privately view your recommendations from anywhere in the world.

The phrase “Trip Builder” is just a little bit more intuitive to what this section is all about. However, wouldn’t it be nice to be able to confirm if your travellers have read their information?

Trip Reviews

Until now, you had to have faith that your travellers were logging in and reviewing their travel information. Alaina at TMC Clinic politely requested if she could have a bit more control over this situation and we thought it was an excellent idea. Thanks Alaina!

Now you can quickly view which travellers have logged into Sitata and reviewed their travel information. A green eye icon will be displayed in the trip list for those that have. In addition, you can click on this icon for further controls to re-send emails if necessary. When a traveller does review their trip, we’ll send you an email to let you know about it. If you prefer not to receive an email, you can turn this off in your account settings. For more details, feel free to read this article.

Please note that past trips are marked as “not reviewed” unless the traveller logs into Sitata and views their trip information.

What Are We Doing Next?

Appointment Bookings

We’ve been working around the clock to bring you a suite of features which will allow your staff to organize and control your appointments. We’re not quite finished yet and so if you have any ideas or specific feature requests, please let us know!

Internationalization

There has been a lot of demand from travellers to provide them with our content in various languages. In fact, we met several clinics at the International Society of Travel Medicine 2013 Conference that also expressed a preference for their native language. To meet this demand, we are currently working on translating our platform. Users will be able to set their language preference in their own settings.

That’s all for now. Thank you for taking the time to read this newsletter and please feel free to reach out to us to let us know how we’re doing!
