2016 Outbreak of measles in Romania continues in 2017

An outbreak of measles in Timisoara in western Romania that began in 2016 is continuing into this year. In December 2016, 124 children were hospitalized, and in the first 3 days of this year, 30 more children were admitted. Authorities expect the outbreak to increase.
