4 more cases of a novel SARS-like virus reported in Saudi Arabia and Qatar

News media throughout the world are reporting that 4 more cases of the previously identified novel coronavirus have been reported in Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Of the 6 cases investigated so far, only 2 appear to have a connection as members of the same family. While extensive studies are underway, so far, the virus, which causes pneumonia, does not appear to be widespread or easily transmitted. The World Health Organization does not advise any travel restrictions, and travellers in general do not appear to be at risk of acquiring this illness.
