Malaria in Cambodia

Reports of malaria infections during the first 9 months of this year have increased to 41,000 nationwide. Although the goal was 0 deaths due to this infection this year, a total of 8 deaths have been registered.

Advice

Any traveller to any region where malaria transmission is occurring can reduce their risk of exposure by taking all necessary precautions to avoid mosquito bites. Anti-malaria medication is recommended.
