Additional measles case reported in Boston outbreak.

To date, health officials have confirmed one additional case of measles who lives in the same building where exposure to the initial case took place. Three more persons are under investigation as suspected cases while laboratory testing results are pending. One ate in a restaurant frequented by the initial case while another is a university professor.

Travellers should be aware of the highly infectious nature of the measles virus and ensure that their childhood vaccinations are up-to-date.
