Airlines attempting to resume flights in and out of Bali

The volcanic ash cloud caused by continuous eruptions from Mount Raung has disrupted airline flights for days and has left tourists stranded in Bali, including more than 1,000 Australians.

Jetstar and Virgin Australia airlines have begun to resume services, depending on the level on volcanic ash in flight paths, and plan to increase services to and from Bali until all stranded travellers are able to return home.

Advice For Travellers

Mt. Raung continues to erupt and volcanic ash could continue disrupt the airline operations. The airlines have advised customers not to travel to the Denpasar Airport without a confirmed rebooked flight.
