al-Shabah threatens more attacks in Kenya

Al-Shabab has threatened more terrorist attacks in Kenya. The Somali group was responsible for the carefully planned attack on the Garissa University that killed 148 people and wounded many more. This was the worst attack since September 2013, when 67 people were killed during an al-Shabab attack on a shopping mall in Nairobi.

Travellers should be very cautious and avoid places such as crowded markets, government buildings, religious sites, transportation stations and other popular destinations where terrorist attacks may occur.
