Due to the risk of another landslide, authorities in Guatemala City have evacuated another 40 families from the area of last week’s landslide that killed at least 253 people and left 374 people missing. On October 1 after heavy rains, a hillside collapsed onto Santa Catarina Pinula on the southeastern edge of Guatemala City.
