Another cholera outbreak in Angola; this time in Cohama, Cunene Province

At least 69 people sought treatment for symptoms of cholera at the Cahama municipal hospital in the last week of December. Travellers to Cunene Province can reduce the risk of exposure to cholera by strictly observing all food and water precautions. If visiting this area and if gastrointestinal symptoms develop, e.g., vomiting and watery diarrhoea, travellers should seek medical care at once.
