Another outbreak of cholera in northern Cameroon kills 59 people.

Health officials have reported a cholera outbreak in Cameroon’s Far North region. From June 1 to August 12, there have been 59 deaths registered and over 1,300 new cases.

Travellers to this region should be aware of the risk of exposure to cholera and take all necessary precautions to avoid consuming contaminated food and water.
