Armed conflict in Central African Republic leaves one dead and 31 injured

At least one Red Cross volunteer was killed and 31 people injured when fighting broke out between a local militia and international peacekeepers of the European Union Force (EUFOR) in the PK-5 neighbourhood of Bangui. Residents had accused the EUFOR of killing a man on Tuesday. This country has experienced ongoing sectarian violence since a coup in March 2013. All travel to this country should be avoided.
