Attacks in northern Nigeria continue

At least 47 people were killed on Tuesday in still another bombing in northeastern Nigeria. The blast targeted the crowded Jebo livestock market in the town of Sabon Gari in Borno State.

Advice For Travellers

Most countries advise against all travel to northeastern Nigeria due to the lack of personal safety and security. The Islamist militant group, Boko Haram, is active in northern Nigeria, but has also crossed into northern Cameroon, Chad, and Niger to attack towns and villages.
