Customs and border protection staff will start rolling strikes lasting six to eight hours beginning March 22 and continuing through April 1. On Wednesday, Brisbane and Melbourne workers will take strike action. On Thursday, March 24, there will be a major nationwide 24-hour work stoppage at airports and cruise ship terminals. Ongoing action is planned for Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Cairns, Coolangatta, Perth, Darwin and Adelaide on Good Friday and then again Easter Sunday.
