Bomb explodes prematurely injuring children in

A terrorist bomb exploded prematurely in a square in Pradera, in Valle del Cauca State. The square was crowded with children who were celebrating Halloween. The 2 suspected bombers were killed and 37 people were injured, including 2 critically injured children. The suspected bombers might be members of a drug-trafficking band allied with rebels from the leftist Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC. Travellers should be aware of their personal safety in large crowds in areas known to be targets for armed groups, drug-traffickers or other dissident groups.
