British Airways cabin crew strikes in February 2017 will not disrupt most flights

British Airways cabin crew have called strikes for February 17-20 and again from February 22-25.

According to a statement by British Airways, all customers will be able to fly to their destinations despite industrial action and confirmed that:

  • All flights to and from London Gatwick will operate as normal
  • All flights to and from London City will operate as normal
  • The vast majority of London Heathrow will operate as normal
  • Some short haul flights to and from Heathrow will be merged on some of the industrial action days. Customers affected are being contacted with the options available for them and will be able to travel on alternative flights if they wish.

There is ongoing dispute over pay. Strikes can be called or cancelled with short notice. Check with your carrier to determine if your travel plans are affected.
