  • Punjab

    • Ludhiana Area: 275 cases; Increasing trend
  • Maharashtra: 8,370 cases; 18 deaths

    • Mumbai City: 504 cases; 3 deaths
  • Odisha: 1,700 cases; 4 deaths; Increasing trend

    • Ganjam District: 368; Increasing trend Odisha state)
  • Tamil Nadu

China

Malaysia, national – 17,066 cases; 27 deaths

Note: Due to incomplete reporting, lack of access to health care in some areas, and the fact that many persons with dengue fever may not seek medical care and be reported to health authorities, there may be many more cases in the community than are reported.
