Cases of malaria found in state of Minas Gerais, Brazil

Six people were diagnosed with malaria (the milder strain called P. vivax) in the municipalities of Diamantina, Couto Magalhães de Minas and Olhos D'Água. Local authorities are on alert with increased surveillance to detect any additional cases.
