Chaos continues at Gatwick and Heathrow airports, U.K.

Chaos caused by an IT system failure is continuing into a second day for British Airways. Many flights have been cancelled, and there are many flight delays. All long-haul services will fly from Heathrow but could be delayed.

British Airways and Heathrow Airport are asking passengers to not come to the airport without a confirmed booking for a flight scheduled to depart today. The airline is also asking that people avoid coming to the airport too early. No one is being admitted into Terminal 5 until 90 minutes before departure. The airline has warned that disruption could last for days.
