Cholera - Accra, Ghana

Health officials in Ghana have confirmed 6 additional cases of Cholera from the on-going cholera outbreak. To date, 505 cases have been recorded. Cholera is a risk in overpopulated communities with poor sanitation and lack of access to safe drinking water.

Cholera is a serious infection that can rapdily result in severe dehydration and death. Travellers to Accra should be aware of the risk of exposure to Cholera.
