Cholera is spreading in Togo

A cholera outbreak with at least 130 reported cases is spreading outside the capital Lomé and as far north as the Central Region. .
At least 130 cases of cholera have been identified. Seven people have died so far. Travellers to this area can reduce the risk of exposure tocholera by strictly observing all food and water precautions. If visiting thisarea and gastrointestinal symptoms develop, e.g., vomiting and watery diarrhoea, travellers should seekmedical care at once.
