Cholera outbreak in Musina, South Africa, on border with Zimbabwe

A cholera outbreak has been reported in Musina, Limpopo Province, South Africa. The total number of cases is not reported, but several people are hospitalized. One case was imported across the border into Beitbridge, Zimbabwe. Travellers to this area can reduce the risk of exposure tocholera by strictly observing all food and water precautions. Ifgastrointestinal symptoms (e.g., vomiting and watery diarrhoea) develop whilevisiting the affected area, travellers should seek medical care at once.
