Civil unrest in Bahrain turns violent with 5 deaths

On May 24 and 25, there has been civil unrest across Bahrain after police conducted a security operation in Diraz, the hometown of a Shia leader. Five protesters were killed and 286 arrested. Protesters have continued to defy the government’s warning against more public gatherings.
