An anti-foreigner march in Pretoria turned violent and police have used tear gas, rubber bullets and water cannon to disperse the crowd. Recently there have been attacks on foreign nationals in Pretoria West and other townships protesting illegal immigrants. The march began at the Old Putco Depot and is continuing to the Home Affairs office.
