Confrontations in Gaza Continue - update

Confrontations along the Gaza-Israeli border continue as thousands of Palestinians converged on the eastern border with Israel to take part in ongoing anti-occupation demonstrations. In the past week, at least 21 Gazans have been killed and more than 1,500 injured during cross-border provocations. Gaza demonstrators threw stones and Molotov cocktails at Israeli soldiers stationed along the border who responded with riot disposal means and live fire in accordance with the rules of engagement.
