Consuming raw eggs causes salmonella outbreak in Victoria, Australia

Consuming raw eggs produced by the Green Eggs Company in Ararat in western Victoria has been identified as the cause of at least 200 cases of salmonella infection. The raw or partially cooked eggs were eaten in restaurants in Torquay and St Kilda. Health authorities are warning the local population to avoid eating raw or partially cooked eggs.
