Contaminated oysters cause food poisoning in Marin County, California

Three people have become ill after consuming oysters from the Drakes Bay Oyster Company in Marin County. The oysters were contaminated with a bacteria called Vibrio parahaemolyticus that can cause serious illness. Although the product has been recalled, any traveller who has purchased this product should discard it and avoid consuming it.
