Continued sectarian violence in Central African Republic

A Christian militia attacked the Muslim village of Ardo-Djobi (near the city of Bambari) in the Central African Republic and killed 18 people of the Fulani tribe. Christian militias have sought revenge for atrocities committed during Seleka rule. The sectarian conflict has left thousands dead and forced nearly 1 million people to leave their homes. Several countries advise their citizens to avoid all travel to this country due to armed conflicts and lack of personal security.
