Advice For Travellers

The Eidul Azha or Eid al-Adha, Festival of the Sacrifice, may account for many of the cases since people purchase and sacrifice animals during this festival without proper protection. The risk for the general traveller is low unless there is contact with the blood of infected livestock, or if bitten by infected ticks.
