Deadly avalanche after earthquake in Pescar Province, Italy

Following the 5.5 magnitude earthquake in central Italy on Wednesday, a snow avalanche in the Gran Sasso mountains in the Abruzzo region has struck the Hotel Rigopiano in the town of Farindola. Many hotel guests are trapped and feared dead. Avalanche warnings were issued across the region.
