Deadly Explosion at Ceramics Factory in Khartoum, Sudan

At least 23 people were killed and more than 130 injured when a gas tanker exploded at the Salomi ceramic factory in the Bahri area in a northern suburb of Khartoum on Tuesday. The casualties included people of various nationalities. At least 18 workers from India were killed and many may have been seriously injured.

Avoid the area while firefighters conduct operations and investigations are carried out.
