Deadly landslides near the Anapurna Circuit, Nepal

Torrential rains triggered landslides in western Nepal that have killed at least 33 people, with many missing. The landslides occurred in villages (including Lumle and Kaski) near a resort town of Pokhara, close to Nepal’s most popular trekking route, the Anapurna Circuit.

Advice For Travellers

Travellers should postpone travel to these areas. The Pokhara-Baglung highway is blocked by landslides.
