Deadly measles claims more children's lives in Pakistan

There are reports that 2 more children have died from measles in the current large scale outbreak in the Punjab. So far, there have been 123 deaths and as many as 14,823 cases reported province-wide. Travellers are reminded that outbreaks of the highly contagious measles virus can occur anywhere in the world at any time. Travellers can reduce their risk of exposure to the highly contagious measles virus by ensuring that their childhood vaccinations, including measles, are up-to-date prior to travelling.
