Death toll in Vanuatu increases after cyclone PAM

At least 24 people died during the intense tropical cyclone that hit Vanuatu. The extent of the damages is still not known completely, since extensive flooding has impeded assessments by search and rescue teams. A 6 PM to 6 Am curfew is in place.

Travellers should reconsider any plans to visit the islands at this time, since essential services have been severely affected.
