Decreasing trend in leishmaniasis in state of Piauí, Brazil

According to recent date, the number of reported cases of leishmaniasis in Piauí has decreased considerably compared to previious years. Statewide, there have been 296 reported cases. The affected cities include Altos, Teresina, Pedro II, Miguel Alves, União, Ipiranga do Piauí and Palmeirais.
