Dengue cases, deaths increase in Manila, Philippines, following typhoons

Health officials expect dengue fever cases to increase following massive floods caused by typhoons Pedring and Quiel last week. To date, a total of 19, 432 dengue cases and 108 deaths have been recorded.

Travellers to Manila should be aware of the risk of exposure to dengue fever virus and take all necessary precautions to avoid mosquito bites.
