Dengue fever cases and deaths increase in Cambodia

Dengue fever cases continue to increase in Cambodia. From January to July 2011, health authorities have recorded approximately 7,900 cases of dengue fever. Forty deaths have occurred in children.

Travellers to this country should be aware of the risk of exposure to dengue fever virus and take all necessary precautions to avoid mosquito bites.
