Dengue fever cases expected to increase in Mexico

Health officials have warned residents to expect increases in the number of cases of dengue fever in the coming months. To date a total of 850 cases with 2 deaths have been reported nationally. The state of Jalisco has reported 68 of the cases.

Travellers to Mexico should be aware of the risk of exposure to dengue fever virus and take all necessary precautions to avoid mosquito bites.
