Dengue fever epidemic in Singapore appears to be waning

The weekly number of new dengue cases is continuing to fall, suggesting that the worst of the dengue fever epidemic may be over. So far this year, 13,600 cases were reported along with a few deaths. Since Singapore is still in the peak season for dengue fever, travellers should still take all necessary precautions to avoid mosquito bites.
