Dengue fever in India and Pakistan

Regions of India that are reporting cases of dengue fever include:

  • Delhi - over 15,000 cases with 38 deaths
  • Punjab - 2 deaths in Sahnewal, Ludhiana, [number of cases not given].
  • Maharashtra - 26 cases in Panvel Taluka, Raigarh district
  • Tamil Nadu - almost 1,900 cases in Chennai

Pakistan:
