Philippines

  • Iloilo - 3,730 cases; 18 deaths. The most affected municipalities include Quinon, Cabatuan, Pototan, Tigbauan, Santa Barbara, Calinog, Pavia, San Miguel, Alimodian, Badiangan, Maasin, Oton, Passi City, Lambunao and Dumangas.
  • Negros Oriental - 1,934 cases; Increasing trend.
  • Metro Manila - 4,143 cases The most affected areas include Quezon City and Caloocan City. Federated States of Micronesia - 1,007 suspected and confirmed cases

There may be many more unreported cases of dengue since counting and reporting cases may be hampered by lack of local access to health care, and many persons with mild illness may not seek health care.
