India - There have been more than 67,365 reported cases including 152 deaths. Maharashtra state continues to be one of the most affected, especially the city of Mumbai.

Philippines - More than 117,000 cases have been reported nationwide this year.

The actual number of cases is much greater than the reported number for several reasons. People with mild infections may not go to the doctor, or they may not have access to health care.
