Dengue fever in Singapore appears to be declining

Although there have been 3,075 reported cases of dengue fever so far this year, the trend seems to be decreasing. Nevertheless, there is still a significant risk of exposure to infected mosquitoes, and travellers to areas where the dengue fever virus is active can reduce their risk of exposure by taking all necessary precautions to avoid mosquito bites.
