Dengue Fever in Sri Lanka

Dengue fever cases are increasing in Sri Lanka due to prevailing rains. A total of 3,784 cases have been reported since the beginning of the year. There have been 32 deaths. In April, the total number of cases was 716.

Travellers to this area should be aware of the risk of exposure to dengue fever and take all necessary precautions to avoid mosquito bites.
