Dengue fever is a major risk in Malaysia

There have been 46,681 reported cases of dengue fever nationwide since the start of this year. This total is approximately 3 times the number reported during the same time period last year. In the past week, there were 2,163 cases, most of whom occurred in Selangor. Other affected areas include Kelantan, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya.
