Dengue fever reported in Rupandehi district, Nepal

In the last 2 months, the number of reported cases of dengue fever has increased from 26 to 106 infected persons in the Rupandehi district. Infected people were diagnosed in many different towns and villages in the district.

Many persons with dengue fever do not seek medical care and are not reported to health authorities. There may be many more cases in the community than the reports indicate.
