Dengue fever spreads in north Queensland

The cyclones that affected north Queensland created additional breeding places for mosquitos that harbor the Dengue virus. As a result, officials have recorded a doubling of cases of Dengue fever with a total of 15 identified cases in East Innisfail. Eight cases have been hospitalized. Officials are warning that the infection might spread.
