• Pakistan (Lahore City, Punjab Province)
• Philippines (Valenzuela City, Metro Manila)
• Brazil (Espirito Santo State, Foz do Iguacu, Parana State)
• Bolivia (Cochabamba Department)
• Peru (Puerto Inca, Huanuco Department)

Travellers to these areas should be aware of the risk of exposure to dengue fever virus and take all necessary precautions to avoid mosquito bites. Many persons with dengue fever may not seek medical care and may not be reported to health authorities. There may be many more cases in the community that are not reported.
