Devastating floods in Kashmir, India

Indian authorities issued a flood alert today for Jammu and Kashmir, including the affected Kashmir districts of Anantnag and Kulgam. Heavy rains have triggered landslides in the worst flooding in 22 years in the Indian-administered area of Kashmir. At least 14 have died in the past two days, and 70 people are missing when their bus was swept away in the Rajouri District. The only road connecting the Udhampur district to the Indian plans is closed.
