Diphtheria outbreak spreads in Pakistan

The number of children infected with diphtheria has increased dramatically in the South and North Waziristan agencies. At least 30 children have died while dozens are reported hospitalized. The disease is spreading to adjoining districts, including Tank, Dera Ismail Khan, and Bannu.
