Dozens Killed and Injured After Dam Collapse - Russia

A Siberian gold mine dam in the city of Krasnoyarsk collapsed and water flooded the dormitories of several workers, killing at least 15 people and injuring another 16. Around 13 others disappeared. Heavy rains caused the collapse early on Saturday (October 18).
